This piece is part of my new Night Garden series. Like my similar paper works, this piece is a hand-cut paper collage made from recycled paper that I paint, cut and fold. I wanted to capture a figment of the boundless sublimity of a field of wild flowers at night. I like to get up close and let it fill my periphery, I enjoy the complexity of the shadows deep within it.
